The new SL4 box is supposed to be shipping next month "April 2011". Two USB feature found on the RANE 68 four channel Mixer, comes to a standalone SL Box for use with mixer of your choice. But just how does it work? Here's a video from RANE showing us how a switch off between two DJ laptops works!

All through the 90's, 2000's, and present he was and is the go to guy for the smooth funky gangsta R&B hook. Nate gave us that street edge with a lil soul for ya mind=G FUNK. We will miss you OG, your work+legacy will live on! Here a video for "Never Leave Me Alone". I got the promo 12" for this song in a crate somewhere. I'll post pics up when I find it.

The "Heartbeat" (1981) by Taana Gardner is one of my fav samples. Mixed by legendary NYC DJ Larry Levan. Lots of people have done their take on it. From De La Soul to KRS One. Recently it's even gotten a Nu Disco Reworking= Homework "Hudson Square (Exploited)". I wouldn't be shocked to see this sample pop up again soon.
